How to Freeze or Unfreeze a BMO Card?

❄️ Steps to Freeze a BMO Card 

  1. Open the BMO mobile banking app or visit online banking
  2. Log in with your username and password
  3. Go to “Accounts” or “Cards” section
  4. Select the debit or credit card you want to freeze
  5. Tap on “Manage Card”
  6. Click “Freeze Card” or “Lock Card”
  7. Confirm the action
  8. Your BMO card is now temporarily frozen

🔓 Steps to Unfreeze a BMO Card 

  1. Open the BMO mobile app or online banking
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Go to Cards or Account Settings
  4. Select your frozen BMO card
  5. Tap “Unfreeze Card” or “Unlock Card”
  6. Confirm your request
  7. Your BMO card is active again and ready to use
